What is a SALT SERVE Trip?
SALT Trips are for individuals and SALT Partners to engage in the work of SALT globally.
Serve Trips center on many different things, such as serving families with children who have special needs, serving new church plants, and engaging in service projects with our partners on the field.
OUR PROCESS
STEP 1
Interest Meeting
Click APPLY TODAY button below and fill out a short form. SALT team will reach out to you and schedule an Interest Meeting over the phone or Zoom.
The purpose of the short Interest Meeting is:
- For SALT leadership to better understand you and your team
- To deepen your understanding of SALT mission and strategy.
- To affirm alignment with SALT's values and measures.
STEP 2
Commitment Meeting
After the interest meeting you will be invited to start participating in Commitment Meetings.
Focus of these meetings is to:
- Introduce you to other team members.
- Review SALT Gospel Statement.
- Commit to mandatory team meetings.
- Discuss overall budget and schedule.
- Discuss fundraising process and procedures.
- Answer any questions.
STEP 3
Register
After attending a commitment meeting, you will be asked to Register for the trip. During registration you will be asked to fill out various forms, upload a copy of your passport and pay an initial deposit.
Following the registration, SALT will create a trip Dashboard for each participant, which will be used for:
- Uploading your passport pictures.
- Filling out various forms.
- Keeping track of your fundraising.
- Team announcements
